I generally don't start anything with my letters, usually they are responses to issues that generate numerous letters from other readers. One such was in response to a letter that suggested KXLE radio should not be airing The Savage Nation because he suggested we nuke Afghanistan in response to the attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. There was then a large number of folks writing in about the problems north campus residents were having with college students partying noisily, litering and damaging property. This was my response on February 6, 2002
